Homeowner Law serves the legal needs of its homeowner clients, including condominium and homeowner association disputes, construction defect and product liability claims, insurance coverage and bad faith actions, and real estate litigation. Homeowner Law relies upon the dual-edged sword of litigation and transactional legal experience in the zealous representation of our clients.

It is said that the best transactional attorney is one with a litigation background in order to foresee potential conflicts and pitfalls before they occur, and draft contracts that eliminate those risks. Similarly, the best litigation attorney has business experience in order to pursue a claim practically and effectively without a hollow victory at the end of the case. With Homeowner Law, our clients obtain the benefit of both, as Dan Zimberoff is an experienced trial lawyer and business attorney who always strongly advocates for the interests of his clients.

Daniel Zimberoff

Daniel Zimberoff is a combat veteran and experienced trial attorney, having taken over 60 trials to verdict. He began his legal career working for an insurance defense firm and gained invaluable experience in how insurers defend cases. In 1999, he switched sides of the “v.” and began representing plaintiffs. In addition to civil litigation, he spent two years as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney.

For the past 18 years, Daniel has focused his practice primarily on two areas of law: HOA/Condo law and construction defect litigation. Utilizing his former insurance defense and prosecutorial trial experience, he is a strong advocate for his homeowner clients. He also acts as a mediator and arbitrator of community association conflicts.

Daniel’s philosophy is to first try to resolve his clients’ disputes through comprehensive preparation and reasonable negotiation, but if that strategy fails, be fully prepared to litigate the claims or defenses to the fullest extent of the law.

Daniel is a Gulf War veteran and graduate of the Navy Fighter Weapons School (“Top Gun”). He retired from military service in 2011 as a Captain in the Navy Reserves. In 2015, Dan was granted a fellowship into the prestigious College of Community Association Lawyers, one of less than 150 attorneys in the nation with the designation.

When not in in the courtroom or office, Daniel can be found surfing, cycling, playing hockey, or spending time with his wife Salima and their toddler Ellie.
